Even More New Features for Online Registrations

Online Registration is such a huge feature of BVCMS, we just keep wanting to make it even better! In our last newsletter, we told you about some really cool features that gave you a lot more flexibility in setting up and moving around the questions, drop down menus, etc. Well, we continued making improvements right through the holidays and beyond.

If you haven’t checked these out, you will want to take a look at these posts.

Contributions Features and Reports

We were also busy adding new features and reports for contributions. Check these out:

Online Directories

You asked for them and now they are available! We added these new features in phases. Phase one was the Online Member Directory. Phase two was the Online Family Directory. Phase three was the option not to publish your phone numbers in online directories. Read more about these newest ways to help organization members stay in touch.

We want you to like us and follow us!

Developer News

Our friends and colleagues at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in NYC have been helping us do a lot of redesign of the user interface for BVCMS. And we have hired a designer, Dave Lowe, to help us work on the new styles. Our hope is to have all of this finished and the new look rolled out by mid-year. Along the way we will be giving Admins and selected users sneak previews of some of our unfinished ideas. The way we are doing this is to incorporate the new code for the design into the production program. This way, we can switch back and forth between the new look and the current look.

The person page, organization page and search pages will all be getting makeovers. I am really excited about some of the new ideas we are doing with search to make advanced searches easier and more intuitive.

Blessings,
Your BVCMS Team
